I come from a family of artists: musicians, painters, photographers, and writers, Though music and silence are essential to me I chose to express myself through fine art, paintings, sculptures, and literature. I have written many stories and created art since early childhood.
I seek Beauty wherever I am. For me beauty is truth. I am not talking about fake beauty. I speak of beauty with a heart and Truth. Though classically trained and inspired, I navigate many oceans of inspiration in my paintings. As long as God is present I trust my artistic process, the marvels of improvisation and the infinite possibilities. I show in many art galleries. My website is my small art gallery.
I work mainly with oil paints. There is no other medium as versatile and difficult as oil, but their beauty and magnificence are worth the skille. I don't produce copies of my work, except postcards. I believe in selling only original fine art in my little art gallery but also in all the galleries I exhibit.

I believe in selling only original fine art in my little art gallery but also in all the galleries I exhibit.
I also work with watercolors because I can take them everywhere with my pens and inks. I am never without my art notebooks. I scribble and sketch away all the time. I jot down my ideas. Inspiration never leaves me.
My first inspiration is my mother. She was a painter who as a child never painted like a child. Her first drawings were very realistic. My first inspiration is my mother. She was a painter who as a child never painted like a child. Her first drawings were very realistic. Mom taught me her fine art techniques, equipped me with writing endurance and she never hesitated to include my paintings in an art gallery where she exhibited. In the same fashion she encouraged many artists in renowned lifetime.t Mom also taught me to remain true to myself and never hesitate to evolve in styles and refuse to be contained in a so-called consistent style.
I learned to develop many skills, to accept my weaknesses and capitalize on my strengths. As my fine art pursuit remained sincere, it became my lifelong occupation.
Thanks to Mom I learned to resist art fads, movements, and not to succumb to someone else's vision for my paintings..
My favorite artists are of first Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci. Everyone comes way after them. They are truly the masters of my studio. Then a whole plethora of artists follows, known and unknown. A few names? Klee, Dufy, Chagall, Modigliani, and Delacroix.
The unknown are the students I have inspired, equipped and encouraged to exhibit. I am proud that a few became very successful.
I love staying in touch with children. I love teaching high school art as an elective because I have the opportunity to work with teens, my favorite age group.
Without my students, at school and privately, I am not sure I would challenge my art and my life as much.
