I was born and raised in Paris and grew to love art at an early age. I studied hard to earn degrees in Art and Classical Literature from the Sorbonne, as well as Political Science and International Relations from the American University in Paris. After a post-graduate year in the U.S., I settled in California, where I worked as a reporter for "Voice of America" during the 1984 Olympics before focusing on my artistic career in San Francisco. I have always participated in political activism and still contribute to just causes today.

In this stage of life, I find immense fulfillment in being a supportive mother to my son and in mentoring teens and adults through art lessons. Being there for my son as he navigates his career in science and business brings me great joy and pride. Similarly, teaching art allows me to share my passion, knowledge, and experiences, nurturing their creativity and guiding them on their artistic journeys. These roles as a mother and mentor are deeply rewarding and meaningful to me, adding layers of purpose and fulfillment to my life.
